Eliminating the transmission of HIV from mothers to their babies is vital for ensuring healthy beginnings for all children. We can achieve this by increasing access to prenatal care that includes routine HIV testing and providing antiretroviral therapy (ART) for expectant mothers living with HIV. Public awareness campaigns are crucial for educating communities about prevention methods and the importance of early intervention. Healthcare providers should also offer counselling and support services to help pregnant women navigate their health options effectively. By working together on these initiatives, we can significantly reduce new infections among infants and improve health outcomes for both mothers and their children.
