Umncedi

Umncedi, a flagship project of the DG Murray Trust, aims to expand access to essential information for Early Childhood Development (ECD) programmes, supporting registration and improving programme quality. Our mission is to connect people working with young children by consolidating and sharing knowledge generated by ECD organisations.

We curate and disseminate resources through platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and SMS to empower practitioners with tools for delivering high-quality services to young children and their families. Currently, we operate 7 WhatsApp Provincial Groups and engage directly with ECD Forums in each province to introduce Umncedi and its offerings.

Additionally, we conduct research to support the distribution of resources for early learning programmes, ensuring ECD practitioners have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.
